Now, SNS is one of big keys when people hold social event for gathering people's  attention.
For example, people call for somebody's participation by using SNS to show the information of the event. This is why SNS is a important part for succeeding the social event so I would like to talk about "How to socialize events" in chapter 7 of The art of social media.

There are 13 tips for how to socialize events and I will introduce about important 5 things.

First, "Pick a short, evergreen hashtag". To use long hashtag is not efficient for making people know the event because the possibility people see the post is going to decrease. The longer the hashtag become, the less people see the post because it indicates specific thing.

Next, after you decide the hashtag, integrate it into everything and ask everyone to use it. Not only you tell people the hashtag, but also you should ask them to use it. This is the way of spreading the existence of the events.

Next, "Dedicate a person". Guy Kawasaki said "To truly socialize an event, at least one person should focus on social-media activities." Because if the event does not have one person dedicate social media, if something happen to the person have responsible for posting on SNS and they cannot post, the information will not be known for many people and the event will lose the opportunity to get attention. They have three tasks, before the event "Share promotional posts to drive awareness and attendance" and during the event, "Tweet what's happening and take pictures of speakers and guests. Upload these pictures during breaks and reshape other people's posts" and after the event,  "Share articles about the event, as well as more pictures and videos. Encourage attendees to reshape their pictures".

Next, "Provide wireless access". For letting people share their post, you need to give good wireless access to them. And now, those SNS have good function to share those social events. For example; Instagram has live function and stories. These function have really good roles for letting people know about their events. So for letting people use those functions, absolutely you should provide good wireless environment.

And last, "Provide a place to take pictures". This encourages people to post about their events on SNS .

So these are the tips for socializing events by using SNS.
